Two weeks left!

Well, I know I am a little behind on this blog. Well two weeks ago I had to go to the hospital because my blood pressure was elevated. They checked the baby's heart beat and movement and everything was fine. But I was put on bedrest for the remaining of my pregnancy, which has almost been three weeks so far. Ava is still doing fine. We are now going to the doctor twice a week to keep an eye on her. We will find out tomorrow if the doctor is going to induce. She said if I am more than 1 centimeter dialated then induction will take place next week. I am having a lot of contractions and I am starting to feel them. So let's hope she comes sooner than later!

28 Weeks

I went to the doctor yesterday and everything is still going okay. I gained ten more pounds, which puts me up to 20 pounds. so I think I will cut out the sugar so I don't get huge. I am starting to feel Ava move more and more. It is such an awesome feeling. I have now starting going to the doctor every two weeks, so maybe that will make it go by faster. I can't wait to meet our daughter.

Third trimester

Well, after this week I will be entering the third trimester. I can't believe it has gone by so fast. I go to the doctor on July 19 and will be taking my glucose test. I have to drink a really sugary drink and then have my blood drawn. Hopefully, I don't have gestational diabetes because I don't know if I could survive without my ice cream. Beside that upcoming test everything is great and I am just getting bigger and more uncomfortable.

Baby Ava

Little Ava has been kicking up a storm. It is the most amazing feeling. I am feeling great and daddy is super excited. We can't wait till our new addition arrives. We are trying to get the baby room ready in the next couple of weeks. The last time I went to the doctor at 20 weeks everything was great. Heartbeat strong and my belly measures 21 cm, which is good. It should be around the same size as the number of weeks you are, give or take a centimeter or two.

It's a girl

Jason and I found out that we are having a girl and everything is normal so far. We are so excited to have another little Shelley running around. We are going to call her Ava Ryan. The ultrasound was really awesome. She was moving around and yawning. We can't wait till little Ava arrives.

Doctors Appointment

Jason and I went to the doctor today! This time we were able to hear the babies heart beat. It was so sweet and I almost had a tear in my eye. Well, so far I have lost one pound since last month but no need to worry. The doctor said I will gain plenty in the upcoming months. Also, we are having an ultrasound in two weeks. So we will hopefully know the sex of the baby. I can not wait to find out so I can start shopping for baby stuff!

Starting to show

I swear I woke up yesterday and my belly was huge. It is really funny how all of a sudden it appears. Jason even said it looked bigger. Everything seems to be going fine so far. I am going to the doctor on the 26th and hopefully I will get to hear the baby's heartbeat. Then in about a month we will find out what we are having! I am so excited

12 Week Check up!

Mommy went to the doctor on Thursday! Everything is going fine so far. The doctor tried to listen to the heartbeat but only heard it for a split second. Mommy could not hear it. The doctor also said she could hear the baby moving around. So that is a great sign! I guess our baby is going to be a booty shaker like her mommy!

Names? Any thoughts?

SO, we are in the process of trying to agree on names for the newest member of our family. We pretty much agree on the girl name, but the boy name has been up for grabs with no middle name in mind. Any sugesstions from our friends and family???

Also, our next Dr. visit is around the corner, and the belly sickness appears to have moved on down the road(until the New Brock Addition #2). :)

We had our first DR. visit today and saw the little peanut up close, and I must say...looks to be a little girl.

A what?

So we find out the other day that we are expecting, and yes I know this is early in the game but the Brock's have never done anything according to the rules.
